BENEBLOC DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Systems capable of treating 10 to 200 Tons of material per hour. Systems can operate using local power or self-contained solar power or with no power because chemical usage is done by water flow. System utilizes Benmarc environmentally safe dust suppressant Blocks. Systems are mobile and can be mounted at the treatment point or anywhere along the water supply. Water supply and interconnecting feed lines can be of rubber hose material.

Benmarc has units in stock for rapid deployment and installation and stocked components supporting maintenance and repairs with quick response time. Systems can be either purchased or rented. Benmarc offers a maintenance program to ensure system availability.

System utilizes shut off valve, Optional solenoid valve, check valve, isolation valves (for changing chemical blocks), Dustbloc unit, and Bypass.

Units work well for portable demolition dust control and any location where portable dust suppression is needed.

DUSTPAC DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

Benmarc has developed an effective modular system for customers with limited resources. The DustPac system components can be purchased individually and installed by the customer. Benmarc can provide additional services depending on the customers’ needs.

The Benmarc DustPac systems come in three capacities for dust suppression application systems.

  • 0-500 tons of material an hour
  • 500-1500 tons of material an hour
  • 1500-2000 tons of material an hour

Systems can be used for:

  • Tip and conveyor dust suppression
  • Mobilized ore processing stations
  • Truck and bakkie wash systems
  • Belt washing systems
  • Adding chemical at haul road water station

In addition to the main system, Benmarc also provides:

DustPac Delivery System

SKID MOUNTED DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

These systems are designed as a temporary or rental system that can be employed using operating rather than capital expense budgets. The pumps and controls are built onto a 1.2m x 1.5m Steel frame (Skid) and all components are rated IP65 due to exposure.

Typically rented from Benmarc or applied in a short-term test/demonstration scenario, the systems are versatile and modular to enable easy redeployment on sites. The systems are designed for single area application and have a typical life expectancy of around 3 years or less. Where the containerized systems can deliver treatment to several areas using different chemicals, these systems will target only one area and use only one chemical.

As opposed to PLC control, relay logic is the preferred method of controlling treatment. Still, no interaction from plant personnel is required and treatment commences automatically upon receipt of permissive signals provided by Benmarc installed sensors and customer provided plant running and other signals.

CONTAINERIZED DUST SUPPRESSION SYSTEM

A fully automated, centralized and containerized chemical dust suppression system capable of delivering a water chemical solution to several treatment positions where local airborne dust particles can be mitigated, or the target material can be treated to prevent dust from becoming airborne. This is Benmarc’s flagship system and is widely used by our customers.

No interaction from plant personnel is required and treatment commences automatically upon receipt of permissive signals provided by Benmarc installed sensors and customer provided plant running and other signals.

The systems are capable of serving each of the treatment areas independently and automatically and typical installations are truck tips, crushers, feeders, screens, rail and truck loadout.

These robust systems are easily expandable to other areas or plants and designed for a life expectancy of more than 20 years. It employs advanced automation technology that ensures stable pressure and chemical delivery.

The systems may also be linked to control rooms via industry standard communication protocols. Remote control and monitoring are possible through the internet on smartphones and computers.
